What This Framework Includes
Welcome
Welcome to the Transpersonal Diagnostics™: Practitioner Manual. This training is designed to equip you with a rigorous,
compassionate, and spiritually literate framework for working with clients navigating consciousness development and
transpersonal experience.
Whether you're a coach, therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist, this work is rooted in both lived practice and integrative theory—offering a map that honours spiritual emergence, identity transformation, and the gifts and risks of deep inner work. You are
entering a framework that is simultaneously systematic, intuitive, and grounded in multiple wisdom traditions.
Purpose of This Training
This practitioner certification will enable you to:
- Recognise and navigate seven core territories of consciousness transformation
- Respond ethically and skilfully to awakening, liminality, spiritual activation, and ego dissolution
- Apply trauma-informed, stage-appropriate interventions drawn from coaching, somatic, and symbolic modalities
- Understand foundational maps of consciousness from across mystical and philosophical systems
- Anchor your own presence, coherence, and discernment as a practitioner This training does not offer fixed truth or dogma-it offers a framework for orientation. It is not a model of transcendence or escape; it is a framework of integration.
Ethical Preface: Engaging with Sacred Traditions in Transpersonal Coaching Transpersonal Diagnostics™ model draws on psychological theory, spiritual philosophy, and experiential traditions that span continents and centuries. From Advaita Vedānta to Zen, from Hermeticism to Christian mysticism, the material included in this training is rich, nuanced, and often sacred. It is not presented as dogma, nor as a substitute for training in these lineages. Rather, it is offered as a map of the territory-a way to orient oneself as a coach or facilitator in the often unpredictable process of consciousness transformation. Cultural Respect and Context Many of the systems referenced here arise from cultures with deep, lived traditions. T o extract these models without context risks simplification or misrepresentation. Wherever possible, we aim to honour the spirit and lineage of these traditions while translating them into forms that can be respectfully used within a secular, coaching-based context. Scope of Practice This programme is for coaches-not for gurus, therapists, or spiritual directors. You are not expected to teach Buddhism, guide mystical visions, or interpret symbolic cosmologies. You are expected to:
- Recognise and normalise transpersonal experiences
- Offer grounded support for altered and expanded states Section 1: Welcome & Orientation
- Know when to refer onward to trained specialists
- Stay within ethical, psychological, and cultural boundaries Secular Use and Philosophical Fluency Unless you are trained in a specific tradition (e.g., as a Yoga teacher, Buddhist practitioner, or Sufi scholar), your role is not to teach or transmit these teachings-but to understand their diagnostic value. That is: “What might this experience point to in the broader terrain of human consciousness?” The coaching application of these traditions is therefore secular by default, and grounded in:
- Metaphorical insight
- Phenomenological description
- Somatic or symbolic resonance This distinction must remain clear, both in how you present yourself and how you support your clients. Integration Without Appropriation Working across traditions is a privilege-and a responsibility. We invite you to:
- Reference lineage when using practices
- Be transparent about what you're trained in (and what you're not)
- Use caution with esoteric methods outside your scope
- Engage in continued learning, not appropriation Let this manual be a guide to terrain, not a claim to mastery. Transformation is not a commodity-it is a shared human inheritance. What This Framework Includes Transpersonal Diagnostic™ approach draws from a wide range of contemplative, mystical, philosophical, and psychological traditions, including: You will not become a scholar of these systems-but you will become literate in the experiential terrain they illuminate. This literacy allows you to accompany clients without imposing belief, interpreting experience, or overstepping boundaries. - Follow the manual during training days or as part of your cohort cycle

It is not therapy and it is not spiritual direction. You will learn to recognize patterns of transpersonal experience and support integration, but not to process trauma or diagnose clinical presentations. The guiding principle of this training is: Be of service, not of certainty.
