Certification Ethics & Revocation

Practitioners are held to the ethical standards outlined in Section 1. Certification may be revoked if:

• Scope of practice is violated (e.g. diagnosing clinical conditions)
• Cultural appropriation or unethical use of tradition-based practices occurs
• Client safety is compromised
• Misrepresentation of credentials or lineage occurs

Our priority is the dignity of the work, the safety of clients, and the integrity of this field.
